This is where I tell you a little bit about me.
We will keep it itty bitty for the moment 🙂
In 2010 I married the best thing that ever happened to me and became Mrs. Freeman. My husband is the centre of my world and I feel incredibly blessed to be able to do life with him beside me.
We have spent the past four years surrounded by kids of all shapes and sizes. I love kids…in fact, it may be an addiction of sorts! Little people are just so great 🙂 In the past four years I have spent time with little people as a teacher, neighbourhood mommy, home daycare provider, proud auntie, foster mommy…and finally…in the Spring of 2014…an adoptive mommy to two little girls who light up my world!
I love Jesus Christ, and this is the foundation of my life. I am far from perfect, but struggling hard to grow and falling into abundant grace every step of the way.
I am passionate, fiercely idealistic and a dreamer.
Music touches my soul, and nature ties me to the Creator.
This blog is intended to glorify Jesus Christ and build His Kingdom. It is intended to educate about and celebrate both foster care and adoption. It is intended to be a safe place where we can be candid and authentic about motherhood, in all it’s beauty, guilt, joy and frustration. There is no point in pretending to be perfect…the kindergarten teacher will find out it’s not true anyway.
Dare to dream a bit.
Do what’s right in front of you with gusto.
Every itty bitty thing counts.
